Fall / Winter Menu:
Our new menu reflects the produce and flavors of this colder and wetter season with items such as Roasted Beet Salad with Pears, Hazelnuts and Goat Cheese, Braised Lamb Shank with Tomatoes and Olives on Creamy Polenta and Short Ribs of Beef "Stifado" with Saffron Runner Beans and Winter Greens.
Pastry Chef Lee Posey has introduced Marsala Poached Pears with Zabaione and Rice Pudding with Macerated Black Figs to her modest dessert menu.

Seen and Heard:
The January issue of Bon Appetit Magazine has name Lauro Kitchen as the "Best New Casual Restaurant" in Portland, Oregon in their annual Best of the Year Issue. Check out the great photo of Dave on page 80.
In a recent review in the Oregonian, David Sarasohn said, "It's tough enough these days for a restaurant to fill its tables. It's a rarely served side dish to fill the sidewalk, too." See what other reviewers have to say about Lauro Kitchen.
