Notes from the Bar: Sangria de la Mancha
An ideal way to beat the heat of summer is with a refreshing glass of Sangria. Gentleman bartender Bruce Skinner creates his own, combining Spanish wine, brandy, fresh fruit including apples, pears, strawberries and fresh squeezed orange juice. Sangria de la Mancha is a wonderful opener or a great companion to our dinner menu.
More seating available to welcome you to Lauro
We have added tables and seating to ensure that we can accommodate you when you visit Lauro. Five outdoor tables have been added to guarantee that everyone can join us for dinner and be seated in a timely fashion. Seats are also available to dine at the bar or counter where you can enjoy watching our talented staff work. With the seating capacity that we have added, we can seat you with no wait until 7 pm on weeknights and 6:30 pm on weekends. Lauro is a neighborhood restaurant. We want our neighbors, especially our newsletter readers, to dine with us. If you have any questions about seating or availability, please contact David or Daren directly at (503.239.7000).
Numerous vegetarian options to be enjoyed
Living in Oregon means that we have access to a bounty of the freshest, most flavorful fruit and vegetables in the world. A full one-third of our new summer menu features vegetarian recipes. We are also happy to tell you that, at your request, Chef Machado will create a special vegetarian entre. Ask your server for the details of our ChefŐs Vegetarian Special.
